Owen Velkoff is a skilled software engineer with hands-on experience across a variety of cutting-edge technologies and development environments. He has completed multiple internships with prestigious companies, each contributing to his comprehensive knowledge in full-stack development, cloud services, and backend systems.

Most recently, Owen served as a Software Engineer Intern at Meta in Menlo Park, California, where he contributed to critical projects from May to August 2024. Previously, he worked with NCR Corporation in Atlanta as a Software Engineering Intern across two summer terms (May to August 2022 and 2023). During his 2023 internship, he integrated WhatsApp into NCR's messaging service, achieving a 50% reduction in international message costs. This project utilized C#, .NET, JSON, and the Meta Cloud API, alongside MongoDB and xUnit.net for logging and testing, demonstrating his ability to work with diverse programming languages and frameworks.

Owen's earlier experience at Vertice AI (January to May 2023) showcased his full-stack development skills, where he implemented, deployed, and documented new features for a web application. His work included creating React components, building endpoints with Python and AWS, and managing databases with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
