Biography

Nicholas Greene is an aspiring aerospace engineer with a strong academic foundation and hands-on experience in engineering design, analysis, and data analytics. He is set to graduate in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he has maintained a high academic standard, earning a spot on the Dean’s List for seven semesters and receiving the Zell Miller Scholarship.

Nicholas has completed multiple internships and co-op rotations in both engineering and data analytics roles, contributing significantly to each organization he worked with. During his Co-op with Delta Air Lines, he led a lockable stowage initiative for the B767 fleet and co-led a critical multi-million dollar pilot crew project to accelerate in-flight training initiatives. His technical contributions also include supporting the conversion of the LATAM A350 aircraft and implementing new designs using AutoCAD for over 30 aircraft. His attention to detail and engineering proficiency were instrumental in designing solutions that prioritized both functionality and passenger safety.

As a Data Analyst Intern at Analogic Corporation, Nicholas focused on data analysis to improve product quality by identifying root causes of customer complaints and testing failures. He presented his findings in a dashboard format to executive members, driving data-informed improvements in product performance.

Nicholas has also undertaken several engineering projects, including simulating airflow over an airfoil using ANSYS Fluent and designing a modular Mars habitat for extended human presence on Mars as part of a senior design project. In his extracurricular leadership roles, he serves as the Treasurer of the Georgia Tech Club Soccer team and the House and Grounds Chair for his fraternity, where he manages budgets and coordinates maintenance efforts.

Nicholas is proficient in MATLAB, CAD Modeling, Java, Python, C++, and Microsoft Office, and holds interests in both technical and recreational activities, including personal fitness, video game development, and various sports. His blend of technical skills, project experience, and leadership abilities position him as a capable and well-rounded future aerospace engineer.
